A Career Takes Time
Writing has become a way to express some of my experiences. I have started a blog to find ways to further my writings. Most notably, how my personal life entwined with my work experiences. I have managed to raise three children while struggling to find a career. It has taken over thirty years, but I am still juggling my career. One of my children has acquired her own home, one is looking to purchase a home, and one lone child remains.
My background is quite diverse. In 2022, I am the founder of WOW-WOMEN OPTIMIZING WOMEN, LLC and a recent published author: Aruba Vacation with Aruba Joe. I have been in real estate, banking, various entrepreneurial experiences, received a college degree in biology at age 41, mortgage lending, and writing. I have also served on the Manchester Merchants Association, Carroll County Social Services Advisory Board and currently on the Carroll County Board of Realtors and served on various committees for the Realtors, served on various committees/volunteered for non-profits such as Rape Crisis and Shepherd Staff, and a member of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.

This is my first attempt with the blogging experience. I want to share thoughts and ideas particularly with other women on topics of family, friends, and business. Since it is Labor Day, it is the last weekend of my family summer celebrations. Therefore, I wish to emphasize the need for family gatherings. Although my family got together to eat our traditional steamed blue crabs, there were also friends and business associates joining us.
